About the Course

In Our Shoes: Listening, Reflection and Policing Practice is a reflective learning resource designed to support professional development through listening, understanding, and self-reflection. Through personal stories, lived experiences, and guided reflection activities, learners are encouraged to explore different perspectives and consider how these insights can inform their everyday practice. This course provides an opportunity to deepen understanding of the experiences of individuals and communities, strengthen self-awareness, and support respectful, inclusive engagement. It is not a test and there are no right or wrong answers—rather, it is a space for learning, reflection, and professional growth.
